Question 6
We asked Ann Andrews : You mentioned that Jason has strong healing powers, do you feel he would use these to protect his family from illness
Answer
Anyone who knows a healer of any sort will realise that - more often than not - they and/or their immediate family members will suffer from some sort of ailments varying in type and seriousness. Personally, I have always wondered why this is. I have often thought 'well, if you're a healer, why don't you start your healing at home?' It makes perfect sense to me and I'm sure to everyone reading this.....however.... I've spoken at length to Jason on this subject and he has explained it as never using your 'gift' for self gain. He said that was one of the reasons. Yet, more importantly than this, he has explained to me that in healing close family, emotions would get in the way and cloud your judgement. I asked him to explain this as I didn't understand and he said that if a family member had a serious condition, then would it be right of him to heal them; maybe this was their time to move on but by delaying this, he would be performing a selfish act because he would want that loved one around him for a lot longer; would this be fair to that person? He said that he always lives by the one rule: Humans have free will; make their own choices; and he must never interfere in those choices. He connects with those that he heals on a soul level and understands if that person needs or wants to move on or wants to remain here and he acts accordingly. This he does without emotion explaining that it's the only way it can be done. If feelings and emotions come into play from him, then he couldn't do his job. Having said that, he does help his family in other ways, for example, he helps to keep his Grandmothers' rheumatism from causing her pain; his uncles' arthritis is helped the same way - and neither his gran nor his uncle need further medication which their doctors cannot understand. He has also warned us when we have been driving that we should stop for a few minutes as there is about to be a major accident along our route. Twice he has done this and twice proved to be right when we have driven past the wreckage. So, there you have it. I don't expect everyone to agree with what I have said - which makes for healthy debate! - but this then is my understanding.
